Sport Scores Bot Monthly Subscription

tl;dr

In the coming months, I will be adding a monthly subscription option to Sport Scores Bot to help support me and the work I do. No existing features will be moved behind the paywall, but the ticker will be getting a slight facelift. The initial features available to users who subscribe will be alternative designs to the ticker & scoreboard with more to come. The subscription will start at $5/month.

Twitch Settings File

Background

I do a fair amount of web-based reverse engineering. Mainly on rest APIs, but exploring the files a website sends back is always fun to see what kind of “hidden” data they return. I say hidden, but realistically it’s all public. Nothing is stopping you from obtaining a copy of it yourself or even viewing the raw contents. You just have to know where to look and know what you are looking at. In the case of this blog post, a settings file for Twitch. This file was “found” (I say found loosely here because again it’s a publicly available file) by a user in a Twitch Partner and then relayed into another Discord I am a part of. The contents of this file intrigued me, so I decided to analyze it and see what it contained.

Welcome to my blog! I’ve resurrected this blog to better log my programming and DIY project adventures, both the things that make it into YouTube and Twitch content, but also the things that don’t. Text is searchable, unlike videos, so I feel having this all written down provides another layer of indexing of my projects, but also a way for me to just write down whatever I want from my perspective and be able to look back at it in the future.
